The Emergency Loans Program of ARS-Bangladesh provides rapid financial assistance to members facing unforeseen crises such as natural disasters, medical emergencies, family hardships, and livelihood shocks. Through its extensive microfinance network, the program helps vulnerable households meet urgent needs, protect productive assets, and recover from economic setbacks.
During the 2024–2025 fiscal year, ARS-Bangladesh served 42,537 members and 34,792 active borrowers through its network of 82 branch offices, maintaining an outstanding loan recovery rate of 98.69%. Emergency loan support formed part of the organization’s broader financial inclusion and poverty reduction initiatives, ensuring timely access to financial resources during periods of crisis.
By providing accessible and responsive financial services, the Emergency Loans Program contributes to strengthening household resilience, reducing vulnerability, and supporting sustainable livelihoods among low-income communities across Bangladesh.
