Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to ARS-Bangladesh!

Since our founding in 1998, ARS-Bangladesh has been driven by a singular vision, to empower and uplift the underserved communities of Bangladesh. Our journey began with a group of enthusiastic youth, committed to driving positive change. Today, that commitment remains at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that true development goes beyond temporary solutions. By addressing fundamental issues such as poverty, education, healthcare, and human rights, we strive to create sustainable, lasting change for individuals and families across both rural and urban areas. Our focus on income generation, women’s empowerment, child welfare, and support for persons with disabilities is central to our mission of creating inclusive and resilient communities.

At ARS-Bangladesh, we are grateful for the support of our partners, donors, and dedicated team members, all of whom share our vision. Together, we aim to build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our work. We invite you to join us in our journey toward a more equitable, just, and prosperous Bangladesh.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Md. Shamsul Alam
