ARS-Bangladesh has extensive experience in providing flood relief and rehabilitation support to vulnerable communities affected by natural disasters. Through timely humanitarian interventions, the organization delivers emergency assistance including multi-purpose cash grants, food and non-food items (NFIs), hygiene and dignity kits, educational materials, winterization support, and shelter assistance to affected households.
During the 2024–2025 flood emergency, ARS-Bangladesh implemented a humanitarian assistance programme in Noakhali and Khulna districts, supporting flood-affected families with cash assistance, hygiene kits, educational materials, winter clothing, and shelter rehabilitation support. These interventions helped vulnerable households meet immediate needs, restore livelihoods, and recover from the impacts of flooding.
Through its community-based approach, strong local networks, and experienced staff, ARS-Bangladesh remains committed to supporting disaster-affected communities through effective relief, rehabilitation, and resilience-building initiatives.
