Awareness programs on Tobacco control

ARS-Bangladesh implements Tobacco Control Awareness Programs to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce the harmful effects of tobacco use among individuals and communities. Through awareness campaigns, community meetings, educational sessions, advocacy activities, and the distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, the organization educates people about the health, social, economic, and environmental consequences of tobacco consumption.

As a 100% smoke-free organization, ARS-Bangladesh actively engages healthcare professionals, community leaders, youth groups, educational institutions, and local stakeholders in tobacco control initiatives. The organization also observes World No Tobacco Day and conducts public awareness activities to encourage tobacco-free environments and healthier communities.

Through these efforts, ARS-Bangladesh contributes to preventing tobacco-related diseases, promoting public health, and strengthening community awareness on tobacco control across Bangladesh.
