Emergency Support

The Emergency Support Program of ARS-Bangladesh provides timely humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities affected by natural disasters, floods, and other emergencies. During the 2024–2025 reporting period, the program supported flood-affected households in Noakhali and Khulna districts through emergency cash assistance, food and non-food relief items, hygiene and dignity kits, educational materials, winter clothing, and shelter support. The initiative reached 1,000 flood-affected households with multipurpose cash assistance, 300 households with hygiene and dignity kits, 1,000 students with educational materials, 500 households with winter support, and facilitated the construction of two semi-furnished houses for the most vulnerable families. Through these interventions, ARS-Bangladesh helped disaster-affected communities meet immediate needs, protect their dignity, and begin the process of recovery and rebuilding their livelihoods.
