ARS-Bangladesh’s Humanitarian Aids and Emergency Support program provides timely assistance to communities affected by natural disasters, crises, and other emergencies. The program focuses on meeting immediate needs through the distribution of essential relief items, financial assistance, hygiene and dignity kits, shelter support, and recovery assistance, helping vulnerable families restore safety, dignity, and livelihoods.
During 2024–2025, ARS-Bangladesh implemented a major flood response initiative in Noakhali and Khulna with support from Dollar A Day, Australia. The intervention provided multi-purpose cash grants to 1,000 flood-affected households, hygiene and dignity kits to 300 households, educational materials to 1,000 students, winter clothing to 500 households, and shelter assistance for the most severely affected families.
Through these efforts, ARS-Bangladesh demonstrates its commitment to rapid humanitarian response, community resilience, and support for vulnerable populations during times of crisis.
