ARS-Bangladesh promotes sustainable livelihood development by improving access to financial services, agricultural support, entrepreneurship opportunities, and skills development for low-income and vulnerable communities. Through its microfinance and livelihood programs, the organization empowers individuals and households to engage in income-generating activities, strengthen economic resilience, and improve their standard of living.
During the 2024–2025 fiscal year, ARS-Bangladesh served 42,537 members and 34,792 active borrowers through its network of 82 branches, maintaining an impressive loan recovery rate of 98.69%. The organization provided financial and technical support for agriculture, livestock, small businesses, micro-enterprises, and other income-generating activities, benefiting thousands of rural households across the south-western region of Bangladesh.
Through integrated livelihood interventions, capacity building, and access to financial resources, ARS-Bangladesh continues to contribute to poverty reduction, economic empowerment, food security, and sustainable community development.
