SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

To foster self-reliance, ARS-Bangladesh provides skill development training to its employees and community members, particularly in microfinance and income-generating activities (IGAs). With a dedicated Training Center in Jogohati Village, ARS organizes training sessions on topics like microfinance management, basic accounting, computer applications, and office management. In the fiscal year 2023-24, 1,562 participants attended various training sessions, of which 1,501 successfully completed their programs. This high completion rate reflects the relevance and effectiveness of ARS’s training in empowering both staff and community members with essential skills for economic self-sufficiency.
