The Vulnerable Women Benefit (VGD) Project of ARS-Bangladesh aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged and vulnerable women by enhancing their food security, income-generating capacity, and self-reliance. Implemented in partnership with the Government of Bangladesh, the project provides support through food assistance, skills development training, awareness raising, and livelihood enhancement activities.
The program empowers women with practical knowledge and skills that help them engage in income-generating activities, strengthen household resilience, and improve their overall well-being. Special emphasis is placed on promoting women’s economic participation, social inclusion, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Through the VGD Project, ARS-Bangladesh contributes to poverty reduction, women’s empowerment, and the long-term development of vulnerable households and communities.
